Webinar: Identification of Long-Range Allosteric Changes in the Nipah Viral Protein G Using the Biodesy Delta

Joyce Jia Wen Wong, PhD, is a Postdoctoral Fellow at Stanford University Department of Structural Biology. In this webinar Joyce discusses how she was able to leverage the use of second harmonic generation (SHG) to detect subtle conformational changes on the Nipah protein G receptor (NiV-G). Such insights ultimately lead her to identify long-range dynamically coupled regions on NiV-G that are important for Nipah’s human cell infection mechanism.
